Health Research Campaign - Pindrop
Following on from an earlier campaign to increase consumer engagement in the cochlear implant sector, it was identified that the primary concern for consumers was quality of life issues. The Pindrop Foundation wanted to address these concerns.
We proposed undertaking a health research campaign into the quality of life issues identified in their earlier campaign to incorporate a white paper which would be used to stimulate conversations with key influencers in the health funding and referral sector.
A comprehensive health research campaign was begun which included the development of qualitative surveys and focus groups. The final report was presented to the national Audiology Conference and featured in national and local press. The research also formed the basis of change in the assessment process for cochlear implants with a stronger focus on quality of life issues for clients.
